-The Host-
I’m Bill Von Suskil Host and Producer of “The Racing Line”. I was interested in Auto Racing as a young kid born in the 1950s and growing up in the 1960s when Auto Racing was beginning to air on Television on Sunday afternoons and going to the area tracks that was something that was exciting for a young fella to be involved in. At the age of 16 riding my bicycle to work at a local gas station and talk cars and racing with those “Old Guys”.

In the 1970s Life kicked-in lifestyle changed to making a living and a life. Then the time came and the thought of retiring and what to do with the rest of my life kicked in. Cars and Racing were moved back to the front of the pack. The Sports Car Club of America was an interest from the past so getting involved was the way to go. So, I joined again and got involved in Race Administration and putting on events as a Board of Director member and Grid Chief and that took off into a new lifestyle.

With working part-time as a Flag Marshall at a local road course track and working with Pro and Amateur racing series and groups traveling to race tracks along the East Coast with the SCCA keeps a racing enthusiast busy in the life of Auto Racing.

Then a friend of mine was involved with Classic Cars and had a radio program involved in the Classic Car Hobby. I was invited on his show as a guest a number of times in the mid-2000s talking Auto Racing and Classic Cars. One day “That Car Guy” mentioned there was an opening at the radio station for another car show. Since I had a very short involvement with Radio and TV production in the mid-70s I gave it a thought. So, the next thing I knew I was on the air with “The Racing Line” show.

“The Racing Line” is broadcast live over the air throughout the Delaware Valley and Live through various streaming sites and replayed through internet radio networks.
